Prior to Super Mario 3D All-Stars's release, a few of its songs were included in some compilation soundtrack CDs officially released by Nintendo. Although an official soundtrack was never released at the time of the original game's release, it was made available for the first time as a special feature in Super Mario 3D All-Stars alongside the previously released soundtracks for Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Galaxy, complete with an album cover used to represent it in the in-game menu.

The Super Mario Sunshine Original Soundtrack is a digital soundtrack featuring songs and short tunes from Super Mario Sunshine.
